Business Coaching that turns ambition into measurable progress

You already know your industry. What you need is someone who will ask the questions you keep avoiding, hold you to the numbers, and help you build a company that runs well even when you step away for a week.

The gap between where you are and where you want to be

What keeps leaders stuck

  • Revenue plateaus after a strong first few years
  • Hiring feels like guesswork, and retention is worse
  • Decisions pile up because no one else owns them
  • Strategy lives in your head, not in a shared plan
  • Work bleeds into every evening and weekend

What changes with the right coach

  • Clear quarterly targets tied to real financial data
  • A hiring framework that filters for culture and skill
  • Delegation systems your team actually follows
  • A written strategy your leadership team co-owns
  • Protected personal time without guilt

Four phases, no fluff

1

Diagnostic session

We spend 90 minutes mapping your business: revenue streams, team structure, bottlenecks, and what success looks like in 12 months.

2

Priority plan

Within a week you receive a written action plan. Three priorities, specific metrics, and a timeline. Nothing vague.

3

Fortnightly coaching

Every two weeks we meet for 60 minutes. We review progress, solve the latest obstacle, and adjust the plan as reality changes.

4

Quarterly review

At the end of each quarter we measure results against the original targets. Then we set the next three priorities and repeat.

Coaching programmes designed around your stage of growth

Growth strategy coaching

For founders generating between £200k and £2m who want to double revenue without doubling their hours. We identify the highest-leverage moves and build execution rhythms around them.

Leadership and team development

Your company can only grow as fast as your leadership team does. We work on communication patterns, meeting cadences, accountability structures, and how to give feedback that actually lands.

Financial clarity sessions

Many owners know their top-line number but cannot explain their margins by product or client segment. We build a simple dashboard you review weekly so pricing and spending decisions get easier.

Founder time audit

We track how you spend a typical fortnight, then redesign your calendar so at least 40% of your week goes toward high-value work instead of reactive firefighting.

Built on real operating experience

Before coaching full-time, I spent twelve years running a services company that grew from two people to forty-five. I made most of the mistakes I now help clients avoid: hiring too fast, ignoring cash flow, confusing activity with progress.

That background means our conversations are grounded in what actually happens inside a growing business. I will not hand you a motivational quote and call it strategy. Expect spreadsheets, honest feedback, and practical frameworks you can use the same afternoon.

Based in Jacobiford, England, I work with clients across the UK and internationally via video. Most engagements run six to twelve months, though some clients continue on a lighter schedule after the initial programme.

Answers before you ask

How long is a typical coaching engagement?
Most clients commit to six months initially. That gives enough time to set targets, execute, and measure results across at least two quarterly cycles. After six months we decide together whether to continue, shift focus, or wrap up.
What size of business do you work with?
The sweet spot is owner-managed companies with annual revenue between £200k and £5m and teams of three to fifty people. Larger organisations sometimes engage me for executive coaching of individual directors.
Is coaching done in person or online?
Both. Clients within reasonable travel distance of Jacobiford can meet face-to-face. Everyone else uses video. The format does not change the quality of the work; what matters is consistency and preparation.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on the programme scope. A typical fortnightly coaching retainer starts at £1,200 per month. The discovery call is free and there is no obligation afterwards.
What if I need help between sessions?
All coaching clients have access to email and voice-note support between sessions. I respond within one working day. For urgent decisions you can book a short ad-hoc call at no extra charge up to twice a month.
